Brenner Named CL Setter of the Week for Second Time

Paige Brenner of the (RV) Mount Vernon Nazarene University (16-4, 3-4 CL) women’s volleyball team added to her list of career accolades on Monday, September 26.

After guiding her team to a 2-1 week on the court, Brenner earned her second Setter of the Week honor of the season from the Crossroads League.

Brenner was phenomenal on the court for the Lady Cougars as the senior from Copley, Ohio averaged 11.5 assists per set. Brenner’s full game was on display in the team’s three matches as she also averaged 1.7 digs and 1.6 kills. Brenner hit an impressive .514 over the course of the week.

Brenner and MVNU Women’s Volleyball will be back in action on Wednesday, September 28 at Ariel Arena against Grace College. First serve is at 7:00pm.
