Bowser Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America First-Team

AUSTIN, Texas. – After making the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, Zack Bowser of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s soccer program was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team on Tuesday, December 10.

The senior pre-med major earned first-team honors after a strong season on the field and in the classroom where he had a 3.76 GPA.

The Chesterton, Indiana native received Crossroads League First-Team honors in the fall for his dominance at the forward position. Bowser led the team in goals, accumulating 13, and had four game-winning goals during the season. Bowser also helped the team with a total of four assists. Bowser’s 13 goals had him tied for second overall in the Crossroads League and his 30 points sat him fourth overall.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University is a private, four-year, intentionally Christian teaching university for traditional age students, graduate students, and working adults.
