8 Centerburg athletes sign to play in college

Eight Centerburg Trojans athletes signed Wednesday afternoon to attend college and continue their athletic careers

Josie Dawes will play volleyball at Kentucky Christian University. She holds a 3.9GPA and was Honorable Mention All KMAC this past season

Kayla Ferrell will attend Otterbein University to play softball. Ferrell holds a 3.9GPA and was First Team All KMAC her Sophomore year

Avery Glenn, a record holder at Centerburg in golf will attend Southeastern University in Florida for Golf. She holds a 3.8GPA

Bennett Hill will golf at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Hill boasts a 4.0 GPA. He has been first team All KMAC all four years of high school, KMAC Golfer of the Year twice, 2024 District Player of the Year. State Qualifier this past year and holds five individual records and 6 team records. He finished 11 in the state this past year

Kayla Larimore will attend Northwestern Ohio for basketball. Entering Wednesday Night she had amassed 1,385 career points having reached her 1,000th point versus Northmor earlier this year. She was first team All KMAC as a Sophomore and Junior and the 2023 KMAC Player of the Year.

Daniel LeMaster will play baseball at Mount Union. 2023 Second team All District, 2024 First Team All KMAC and tied for most wins in a single season for a pitcher in school history. Also has a no hitter to his credit against Elgin

Julia Orndorff will play volleyball at Ohio Christian. She was First Team All District as a Senior and KMAC Player of the Year as a Senior

Harley Webb will go to Malone to play softball. She was Honorable Mention All KMAC as a Junior
