Women’s Volleyball Sweeps Crossroads League Player of the Week Honors

JACKSON, Mich. – After another solid week of volleyball for the No.22 Mount Vernon Nazarene University Lady Cougars, Regan Nuss (setter), Lyssi Snouffer (attacker), and Jaylen Tang (defender) earned the title of Crossroads League Players of the Week.

Junior, Nuss, put up a career-high number of assists with 59 and also had 21 digs against No.24 Marian University on Saturday, September 14 in the team’s win. Nuss hit a big milestone during the week too, surpassing 2,000 career assists in the team’s sweep at Huntington. For the week, Nuss averaged 11.63 assists per set as well as four digs.

Snouffer was big again for MVNU as she averaged 4.38 kills per set while hitting .280. The senior from Delaware, Ohio also averaged 3.25 digs per set. 

Tang earned her first career Defender of the Week honor for MVNU after accumulating 38 digs across two matches. Tang averaged 4.75 digs per set in MVNU’s wins.
