Understanding & Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors

Mount Vernon, OH — February 8, 2024 – The Alzheimer’s Association Northwest Ohio Chapter has partnered with Knox Community Hospital to offer an educational program, free and open to the community, titled, “Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors.” Join us on Wednesday, February 28, 5:30 to 6:30 pm at Knox Community Hospital in the Education Resource Center, 1330 Coshocton Ave., Mount Vernon.

As people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias progress in their journey, dementia-related behaviors present many challenges.  Families and care partners are often left to find new ways to respond and connect.  Come and learn to decode the behavioral messages, and learn new strategies to effectively respond and intervene.
