Una Voce set to perform spring concert

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Una Voce Chamber Choir will present a spring concert on Saturday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at The historic Quarry Chapel, 10930 Quarry Road, Gambier, Ohio.  The concert is free and open to the public.

Una Voce, an a cappella chamber choir, consists of 20 auditioned members under the direction of Mrs. Carrie Vail. This concert — entitled “We Sing to You” — will showcase a variety of unaccompanied selections, including some Latin, German, French, Spanish, and English texts. The repertoire will cover a large range of styles, from early music to jazz and contemporary acapella.
