MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University will host the 2025 Tragedy
into Triumph, Nov. 3-5, at 7 p.m. nightly in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium. The event is
free to attend, with doors opening at 6 p.m.
With a reach of more than half a million people worldwide, Tragedy into Triumph is dedicated to
helping individuals find hope, renewal and transformation through faith.
Every night will feature worship led by Josh Brown and a live, in-person guest speaker sharing a
story of hope and faith. Speakers are:
Monday, Nov. 3 — Coach Mark Richt, College Football Hall of Fame coach and
broadcaster, speaking on perseverance through Parkinson’s Disease.
Tuesday, Nov. 4 — Riley Gaines, 12-time All-American swimmer, sharing her journey
of standing firm in her faith and values.
Wednesday, Nov. 5 — Michael Oher, NFL Super Bowl champion and subject of The
Blind Side, sharing his story of overcoming poverty and hardship.
