The Ultimate 80s Tribute Band is ready to rock the stage at the Woodward Opera House

The Mount Vernon Arts Consortium invites you to celebrate Halloween 80s-style with The Reagan Years Awesome 80s Dance Party on Friday, October 20th, at 8 p.m. at the Woodward Opera House in downtown Mount Vernon.

The Reagan Years recreates the sounds of the 1980s – a day when Ronald Reagan was President, M-TV first aired, CDs emerged, Acid Washed jeans were “Cool” and alternative music was called “New Wave”.

The Reagan Years features vocalist Anthony Nuccio (who starred previously in the national tour of Broadway hit Rock of Ages,) Karen Ellison on keys, Glenn Riley on guitars, Jody Lewis on bass, Sy Seyler on drums, Scott Benford on saxophone and harmonica, and Raychel Harvey on vocals. These talented musicians with very diverse vocal abilities replicate uncanny versions of the Pop, Rock, New Wave and Heavy Metal hits of the M-TV Era.  Bon Jovi, Madonna, Devo, Joan Jett, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Journey, Modern English, Guns ‘N Roses, A-Ha and ZZ-Top, and with the sax: Hall & Oates, Men At Work, INXS and Huey Lewis. The band covers all the mega-artists!

Audience members are encouraged to dress in their best 1980s fashions or Halloween costumes. Tickets are $40 for either balcony seats or dance floor general admission; The event will also include a cash/credit bar. For more information about the show and to buy tickets, visit MVAC.org.
