The Downtown Mount Vernon Merchants invite you to Witches Night Out

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – The Downtown Mount Vernon Merchants  are excited to announce the Witches Night Out downtown shop hop event on October 12th from 5:00-9:00pm! So grab your ghoul-friends and head downtown for shopping, prizes, and fun!

As part of the event, shoppers will have the opportunity to participate in a selfie challenge to be entered in a prize basket drawing. To enter, shoppers will need to take a selfie in a participating business and tag the business and Experience Mount Vernon when they post it to social media.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to New Directions Domestic Violence.

Looking to show off your Halloween costume a little early? Head over to the Happy Street Brü Werks Open Mic Night from 6-9pm where Almost Famous Sweets & Sodas will be hosting a costume contest. Enjoy some great talent and locally brewed beer while you’re there.

Witches Night Out is an approved DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) event from 5:00-9:00pm. Shoppers may purchase beer or wine from any approved Downtown Liquor License Holder and take it to go. $1.00 from each DORA purchase benefits the Knox Substance Abuse Action Team.
