MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – Pizza Cottage, based in Lancaster, OH., has announced its eleventh location opening at 510 S. Main Street, Mt. Vernon, OH. This new location is scheduled to open in December 2023. Pizza Cottage was founded by Jack and Yvonne Gorham in Carroll, OH in 1972. In 2017, Larry Tipton, originally from Lancaster, purchased the Pizza Cottage restaurant group. Tipton also owns 10 Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar® locations in OH (including Mt. Vernon) and AZ. “The Mount Vernon community has been wonderful,” said Larry Tipton, restaurant owner. “We are pleased to add another location northeast of Columbus, where family and friends can make lasting memories while enjoying incredible food. We look forward to serving the community of Mt. Vernon very soon!” “As a business that has been operating for over five decades, we are excited to expand into the Mt. Vernon community,” said Chad Dawson, operations director. “Our first order of business is to hire a team committed to the level of customer service and quality we expect. Once we’re open, customers can dine-in, carryout or select delivery through DoorDash and Uber Eats.” The restaurant is equipped with a dining room, drive-thru and delivery through DoorDash or Uber Eats. Pizza Cottage Mt. Vernon is currently hiring managers. This fall, they will hire full- and part-time kitchen staff and servers. Pay begins at $12-14 per hour and increases with experience.
