MVNU announces Red Rocks Worship at SonFest on Sept. 17

Mount Vernon Nazarene University is excited to announce Red Rocks Worship will headline SonFest, an outdoor Christian Music Festival on Saturday, Sept. 17.

Red Rocks Worship is comprised of nine worship leaders and songwriters who have a passion to bring their love of Jesus to people through music. Together, they spread the message for everyone to know the only way, the truth, and the life is found in Jesus.

“The heartbeat behind our music is to cultivate communities that pursue God’s presence while creating a real and authentic environment for people to respond in worship,” said Tyler Roberts, the Ministry Leader of Red Rocks Worship.

SonFest is known for its extraordinary lineup of the hottest Christian artists and 2022 is no exception. Joining Red Rocks Worship on the main stage to bring glory to God are Trip Lee, Blanca, Wolves At The Gate and The New Respects. A second stage keeps the music playing all day.

In addition to some of the hottest Christian music and food trucks, the energy and excitement will be ramped up with activities for all ages including a BMX bike show, Zorb Ball racing, archery tag, a 360 video booth and so much more!

SonFest is held rain or shine at The Grove on the MVNU campus, 800 Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio. Gates open at noon with music and activities scheduled until 10 p.m. Acts are subject to change without notice.

Prices increase to $30 for General Admission and $25 for Group tickets starting July 20. All tickets purchased the day of SonFest will be $35. Gates open at noon with music starting at 1 p.m.
