Murder Suspect Arrested in Knox County Following Multi-Agency Investigation 

Knox County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Jocelyn Rose Maddox, a murder suspect wanted out of Lawrence County, Tennessee

The arrest was the result of a collaborative investigation involving the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Mount Vernon Police Department. An arrest warrant was issued following a grand jury indictment from the Lawrence County Circuit Court in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. 

Earlier today, a Knox County Detective observed Maddox operating a black Chevrolet Impala in the area of Verndale Drive and Hillcrest Drive. A traffic stop was conducted, and Maddox was taken into custody without incident. She was subsequently transported to the Knox County Jail, where she is currently incarcerated.
