The Summer Front Porch Concert Series Committee is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of the June 21st Front Porch Concerts and is excited to continue the music and fun on July 19th!
One June 21st, Mount Vernon residents and visitors alike were treated to a diverse array of musical performances that filled the East High Street neighborhood with melodies and brought the community together. From folk and jazz to rock and country, the Front porch Concerts showcased local talent and created a vibrant atmosphere.
“Despite the very warm evening, we were very pleased with the turnout and positive feedback we’ve received from the community,” said Courtney DeCosky, member of the Front Porch Concert Series Committee. “The June concerts not only highlighted the incredible talent we have in our city, county, and region, but was a fun way to bring music to the heart of Mount Vernon. We’re looking forward to continuing this momentum on July 19th.”
Following the success of the June 21st event, the July Front Porch Concerts promise to deliver another month of exceptional musical performances.

In addition to musical performances, local food trucks will be available up and down East High Street. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the performances. In the case of inclement weather, changes to the schedule will be posted on the Summer Front Porch Concert Series Facebook Page.
