Lady Cougars Sweep Georgetown and Shawnee State in Ariel Arena

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – No.22 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball (9-1) hosted a Tri-Tournament in Ariel Arena on Wednesday, August 30 against Georgetown College, and Shawnee State University.

MVNU started the day by defeating Georgetown in its home opener in three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-15, and 25-20. The Lady Cougars continued their winning ways with a victory over Shawnee State in the second match. MVNU won in three sets by final scores of 25-9, 25-15, and 25-20.
