Kokosing Construction is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the driver who struck and killed one of its workers in a hit‑and‑run on I‑70 last week.
In a statement released Thursday, the company identified the victim as 25‑year‑old Jordan Thomas, calling him a “beloved friend and valued team member” whose loss is deeply felt across the organization. Thomas was killed in a construction zone near Ohio 315 around 2 a.m. on February 28 when a driver entered the work area and fled the scene.
“Nothing is more important than the safety and lives of our team members,” the statement said, noting the company’s commitment to securing justice for Thomas and his family.
Kokosing is partnering with Central Ohio Crime Stoppers to offer the reward. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Columbus Division of Police at 614‑645‑4767 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 614‑461‑8477.
The company is asking the public to share the information widely to help identify the driver responsible.
