Knox Technical Center recognized the achievements of its newest graduates during its summer commencement ceremony held Tuesday, June 30, at the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Chapel. The ceremony brought together graduates, families, instructors and community members to celebrate students who completed career and technical education programs designed to prepare them for today’s workforce.
The graduation marked another milestone for Knox Technical Center as the school continues expanding educational opportunities for students seeking careers in skilled trades, healthcare, public safety and other high-demand fields. Several programs also celebrated the first graduating classes in their history, reflecting the continued growth of the center’s workforce development efforts.
Throughout the ceremony, graduates were recognized for the dedication and perseverance required to complete their training while preparing for careers that are in high demand across Knox County and central Ohio. Family members and friends filled the chapel to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2026.
Knox Technical Center continues to partner with local employers, industries and educational institutions to provide hands-on training that equips students with the skills needed to enter the workforce or continue their education. School leaders say expanding career pathways remains a priority as demand for skilled workers continues to grow throughout the region.
The graduation ceremony was streamed live on the Knox Technical Center’s Facebook page, allowing family members and supporters who were unable to attend in person to celebrate alongside the graduates.
