Knox Public Health Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Public Health Week

Knox Public Health invites the community to join in celebrating National Public Health Week from April 7-13, 2025, as we recognize 30 years of advancing health and well-being for all. Public health is more than healthcare—it’s about creating communities where everyone has access to clean air and water, nutritious food, essential health services, and strong personal connections.

The 2025 focus areas include prioritizing individual and community well-being, championing resilience through climate action, advancing health equity and accessibility, advocating for policies that strengthen public health, and supporting the workforce dedicated to safeguarding community health.

As we mark three decades of National Public Health Week, Knox Public Health encourages residents, businesses, and organizations to get involved and help build a healthier future. By working together, we can create safer, more connected communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
