Knox County’s Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner happening in May

The Knox County Republican Party will be hosting their annual Lincoln-Reagan Day dinner on May 16th at The Gallagher Centre. The keynote speaker will be Vivek Ramaswamy, candidate for Governor of the State of Ohio. Other state and national officials, including Congressman Troy Balderson, will be in attendance and making remarks.
“We are very pleased to bring Vivek Ramaswamy back to Knox County,” notes Fred Dailey, Knox County GOP Chairman. Vivek first gained national attention as a candidate for President in the 2024 primary where he came in fourth in the Iowa Caucuses. Later, he co-chaired the DOGE effort with Elon Musk before deciding to run for Governor. He has been endorsed by both President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.
Vivek is a graduate of St. Xavier High School, a Catholic school in Cincinnati, and went on to earn degrees from Harvard and Yale Law School. He made his mark in the business world as a founder of Roivant Sciences, a bio pharmaceutical company. He is a strong advocate of free speech, capitalism and American identity. He is a frequent commentator on national news networks and often speaks on the importance of free markets, limited government and individual freedoms.
“Vivek Ramaswamy has a rock-star status among conservatives and leads this race in every poll,” notes Dailey. “We expect this event to be a sell-out,” he continued. Those interested in attending this event can register by going to: www.knoxcountyohiorepublicans.org
