2024 Annual Knox Co. Veterans Picnic !

This year’s picnic will be on :
(Normally on Saturday)
August 11th at 12:00 PM noon SUNDAY
Same location, aerial foundation park event center, by the smokestack/tower
We will have some good picnic style food and beverages for everyone with Some great door prizes !
This year’s musical entertainment is Presenting a challenge due to being on Sunday at noon, as well as the music and Arts Festival activities. And we also don’t want to continue to ask the same couple people to entertain us every year.
We are considering doing an “OPEN JAM” acoustic Session. Veterans are free to bring their guitars, banjos, harmonicas or whatever they have, and Join in on entertaining everyone in the “circle”
Those participating can feel free to bring one or two songs to lead the group. However, it must be kept in simple format! Something everyone can easily follow along with that are not as musically advanced as some. ( This means, keep it to simple!!!!- chords G, D, C, E, Etcetera, No fancy stuff!)
We will provide a small sound system for vocals only. This session will have a LEADER and easy to follow along prepared songs.
( we reserve the right to decline playing any songs that may not be appropriate)
