KNOX COUNTY CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU ANNOUNCES NEW ONLINE PLATFORM FOR COMMUNITY & VISITORS

MOUNT VERNON, OHIO – Knox County Convention and Visitors Bureau (KCCVB) has announced its release of a brand-new online platform geared for both community development and visitors. The new website, www.visitknoxohio.org, is designed to better serve Knox County through highlighting each community, promoting county-wide events, and helping travelers plan their trip to visit.

“Our primary goals were to strengthen our online presence through added functionality and improvement to the user experience by ensuring our site is optimized across devices” said KCCVB Marketing Manager, Olivia Toth. “It was also very important that this update to our site gave us space to expand our storytelling and provide relevant content about our greatest assets; outdoors, unique lodging, trails, and more.”

Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau has worked with Columbus-based agency Fahlgren Mortine since early 2023 to bring this new platform to light. “This has been a huge undertaking for our team, and we are just so excited to have this showcase for Knox County”, said KCCVB Executive Director, Carol Grubaugh. “With both community and visitor input, we made sure this platform was a place that would really inspire people to not only visit here, but want to live, work or go to school in Knox County.”

Community members and organizations are invited to add their public events to the event calendar feature on the new KCCVB site. “We understand how much time it takes to market an event and we hope our community utlilizes this calendar to stay in the know and further promote their community, and events”, said Toth.

Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau is the destination marketing organization responsible for promoting Knox County as an attractive travel destination and enhancing its public image as a dynamic place to live and work.
