We caught with the Knox County Commissioners Tuesday Morning some highlights:
Unemployment rate was 3.1 percent in April

The Commissioners gave 500 thousand dollars to Salvation Army of Mount Vernon Capital Improvement Project to help with childcare needs.
The Memorial Building Project is on schedule for the air conditioning and painting on the outside. Should be done by the end of July. Putting in new AC in the courthouse too.
