Knox County Career Center Students Earn Adobe Certification

Mount Vernon, OH – The Knox County Career Center (KCCC) had 8 students who
earned Adobe Certified Professional certifications.

The students who earned the Adobe Certified Professional certifications are from the
Digital Media & Software Development program at KCCC. The 8 students are Jack Woods,
Chelsea King, Alex Lovell, Garry Cooper, Jenni McKean, Danni Burky, Dylan Perkins, and Nick
Murphy.

Adobe has partnered with Certiport, the leader in performance-based testing, to deliver
cutting-edge, live-in-the-app exams that allow creators to demonstrate critical skills and help
employers find knowledgeable talent. Each Adobe Certified Professional exam reflects
collaboration with industry experts, research on workplace demands, and rigorous evaluation.

In order to earn the certification, each student has to pass a proctored exam with no
access to learning materials or the Internet. The exam is 50 minutes long and is designed by
experts. The exam is integrated with the creative cloud and available online and in person. One
hundred fifty (150) hours of experience is recommended to take the exam and there is a 3-year
duration per certification. This certification is recognized by the Ohio Department of Education
and the Information Technology (IT) industry as a recognized credential.
