Mount Vernon, OH-Knox Community Hospital is excited to announce its two newest cardiology physicians. Alexander Wallner, MD, attended the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. His research has been published numerous times, and he was the Assistant Professor of Medicine at the OSU Wexner Medical Center.
Som Bailey, DO, attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Bailey was awarded Resident of the Year in 2020 and Fellow of the Year from 2021 to 2023. He has also been published numerous times.
