36 year old Gary Thomas Keesee Jr., faces five additional rape and sex-related charges, according to a superseding indictment from Monday. Keesee was previously indicted on 27 sexual-abuse counts, including 11 counts of first-degree rape.
He now faces 32 sexual-abuse counts, including 13 first-degree felonies, 14 third-degree felonies and five fourth-degree allegations. The five additional charges include two rape and three gross sexual imposition counts.
The superseding indictment filed Monday includes two additional counts of rape and three additional counts of sexual imposition for a total of 32 charges.
Prior to the new indictment, Keesee Jr.’s next scheduled court hearing was July 1. It is expected to be continued. He remains in the Licking County Jail on a two million dollar bond. Speaking with Knox County Prosecutor Chip McConville (who is not prosecuting the case) says to put up property for bond it must be double the worth of the property to be considered.
