“KCCC’s Building Trades Students Earn ICF Installer Training”

Mount Vernon – Students in Knox County Career Center’s (KCCC) Building Trades
program received Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) Installer Training.


The training was conducted by the Ohio Concrete Association, the National Ready Mix
Association, and the ICF Manufacturers Association. Donations of equipment and supplies were
made by Ellis Brothers and the Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters
(IKORCC).


Students who successfully completed the training and test earned the ICF Certified
Installer certificate. This certificate is a 6-point credential toward graduation.


Colby Clippinger, Building Trades instructor, said, “We appreciate our business partners
and industry suppliers that keep our students on the leading edge of the construction industry.
This keeps their skills current and in demand for future success.”
