“KCCC to Host Open House & First Chance Application Night”

Mount Vernon, OH – The Knox County Career Center (KCCC) will host Open House &
First Chance Application Night on Thursday, November 20th from 4:30-6:30 pm.


This event will be open to the public. Business partners, alumni, and community
members, along with current students and their families, will be in attendance. Additionally,
current sophomores and juniors from our associate schools, along with their families, will have
the opportunity to visit KCCC’s career tech programs. Sophomores can visit any of our two-year
programs. Juniors will have the chance to visit our senior-only program, Pre-Professional
Mentorship. Students will have an opportunity to apply in person in the cafe. If students are
unable to attend this event, the application window will be open from 4:30 p.m. to midnight by
visiting www.knoxcc.org and clicking on “Apply Now”.


Local food trucks, On the Rise Bar-B-Que and Buddy’s Local Eats, will be selling food at
this event. KCCC’s Culinary Arts students will be selling coffee and pastries out of the River
Room Cafe, and WNZR will be broadcasting on-site and doing live interviews. KCCC swag will
also be handed out during this event.
