The Knox Community Hospital Auxiliary will be offering academic scholarships to high school seniors and college students interested in pursuing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a health care profession. Applications are available from the high school guidance offices of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown, East Knox, and Mount Vernon High Schools and the Knox County Career Center. Additionally, the application is accessible on the Knox Community Hospital website. Each scholarship award will total $1,000 and the number of scholarships available is not yet determined.
The application outlines eligibility requirements. Applicants must have been Knox County residents for at least 12 months.
Completed applications can be mailed to Knox Community Hospital, 1330 Coshocton Avenue, Mount Vernon, OH 43050; Attention: Human Resources Department. Go to kch.org/auxiliary and volunteers and click on Auxiliary Scholarships for the online application. Deadline is March 28. Anyone with questions may call 740-393-9612.
