Free Community Car Seat Checks

KCH is partnering with Safe Kids Worldwide to host a FREE drive-up car seat check on Saturday, May 17 from 10 AM – 2 PM in the Wright Family Medical Pavilion main parking lot.

Getting car seats checked is crucial because it ensures proper installation and use, significantly reducing the risk of serious injury or death in a crash.

Our certified technicians offer hands-on assistance for the proper installation of car seats. They can identify potential issues, like incorrect installation, or how to correctly use the harness, buckle, and other safety features on the car seat. Our technicians can spot potential problems like a loose base, a seat that is too big or small for the child, or a harness that is not adjusted correctly. Feel free to bring multiple car seats; there are no limitations. This drive-up event typically takes around 30 minutes per car and is designed to ensure your car seat is installed correctly.
