Experience Mount Vernon Welcomes Jess Good as Public Space Enhancement Coordinator

Mount Vernon, Ohio – Experience Mount Vernon is pleased to announce the hiring of Jess Good as its new part-time Public Space Enhancement Coordinator. In this role, Good will work closely with the organization’s Aesthetics Committee to plan, coordinate, expand, and implement downtown beautification projects that will enhance the overall appearance and vibrancy of Mount Vernon’s historic downtown district. 

Good brings more than a decade of leadership and organizational experience to the position, including six years of coaching collegiate women’s lacrosse at Kenyon College. Most recently, she has operated her own project management business, helping homeowners with remodel and design projects. 

“Jess’s eye for design, her ability to manage complex projects, and her strong commitment to the Mount Vernon community make her an excellent addition to the Experience Mount Vernon team,” said Lacey Filkins, Executive Director. “Her enthusiasm for making downtown Mount Vernon even more beautiful will support our ongoing efforts to create a welcoming and vibrant place for everyone.”

A Mount Vernon resident for more than eight years, Good lives just north of downtown Mount Vernon with her husband, Ian, their young son, and two dogs. She is an active member of the Mount Vernon community and looks forward to contributing her skills to the city she calls home.
