Community invited to MVNU’s Festival Latino

Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s annual Festival Latino will be held Sept. 22, from 5-7:30 p.m., at The Quad on campus. The event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month will include art, food trucks, games and cultural artifacts.

“The Latinx community has made significant contribution to our society and our world. This time is set aside for us to celebrate those great accomplishments,” said Tavaris Taylor, Assistant Vice President for Intercultural Engagement. “In addition, we have a growing population of Latinx students in the MVNU community who are actively involved in this festival. This gives us an opportunity to celebrate with them!”

MVNU faculty, staff and students, and the entire Knox County community are welcome to attend.
