City of Mount Vernon sets Meetings

The City of Mount Vernon Housing Council will have a meeting on Monday, March 31,
2025 at 4:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 40 Public Square, Mount Vernon,
Ohio, for the purpose of discussing the 2023 Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) tax
abatement, and any other matters that may be brought before the council.

The City of Mount Vernon Civil Service Commission will have a special meeting on
Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. The location has been changed to the Mount
Vernon Fire Department training room, 200 W. Gambier St., Mount Vernon, Ohio,
for the purpose of discussing modernization of job descriptions, updating of Civil Service
rules and regulations, and any other matters that may be brought before the commission.
