32 Found Guilty in Mount Vernon Municipal Court

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found eight guilty after hearings were held in
the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on September 11, 2023.
Branden Deel, 38, of Delaware, was found guilty of possession of drug abuse
instruments, falsification, and obstructing official business.
Marcus Adkins, 36, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of menacing.
Jeffrey Lawrence, 54, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug
paraphernalia.
Steven Fletcher, 35, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the
influence of alcohol.
Joan Roesing, 58, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of criminal trespassing.
Marc Simpson, 37, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the
influence of alcohol.
Alysha Hoadley, 47, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the
influence of alcohol.
Nathan Crawford, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under
the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.
First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted these cases on behalf of the
City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville,
Fredericktown and Gambier.

Twelve Found Guilty on September 12, 2023

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found twelve guilty after hearings were held
in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on September 12, 2023.
Lindsay Hill, 30, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding, two counts of theft by
deception, and two counts of criminal trespassing.
Cheyanne Bowman, 27, of Pickerington, was found guilty of two counts of assault.
Vicci Sapp, 59, of Danville, was found guilty of possession of marihuana and driving
under an FRA suspension.
David Flack, 46, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of resisting arrest.
Michael Kusi, 24, of Grove City, was found guilty of possession of marihuana and
speeding.
Barbara Wells, 27, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of having physical control of a
vehicle under the influence of alcohol and operating a vehicle under the influence of
alcohol.
Delenn Heffelfinger, 24, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of driving
under an FRA suspension.
Richard Brown, 53, of Killbuck, was found guilty of driving under an FRA suspension
and failure to use reasonable control.
Joshua Crump, 27, of Dresden, was found guilty of speeding.
Marcus Bradley, 19, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.
Spencer Jepsen, 18, of Howard, was found guilty of speeding.
Braydon Evans, 19, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving without a tail light on
the vehicle.
First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted the Bowman on behalf of the
City of Mount Vernon.
Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted all other cases on behalf of the City of
Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville,
Fredericktown and Gambier.

Two Found Guilty on September 13, 2023

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found two guilty after hearings and court
trials were held in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on September 13, 2023.
John Lowe III, 43, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possessing an open container
in a prohibited public place.
Yusuf Yusuf, 24, of Columbus, was found guilty of speeding.
Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted these cases on behalf of the City of Mount
Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and
Gambier.

Ten Found Guilty on September 15, 2023

MOUNT VERNON – Acting Judge Kenneth Lane found ten guilty after hearings and
court trials were held in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on September 15, 2023.
Brandi Coe, 50, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct in the
presence of EMS personnel.
Michael Moore, 44, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug abuse
instruments, possession of marihuana, and assault.
Randall Bialota, 26, of Howard, was found guilty of violation of a protection order.
Carter Gallagher, 23, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of driving under license
suspension and failing to maintain an assured clear distance.
Leana Dzierwa, 29, of Newark, was found guilty of speeding.
Lynne Bohandy, 62, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.
Amanda Burton, 41, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under an FRA
suspension.
Johnny Conway, 48, of Sandusky, was found guilty of driving under an FRA suspension.
Timothy Wolfle, 58, of Nashport, was found guilty of speeding.
Stacie Reid, 61, of Howard was found guilty of speeding.
