Indulge in a full, delicious cookout dinner, bid on exclusive auction items, and enjoy family fun games of basketball, cornhole and pickle ball, all while supporting a meaningful cause. Your generosity will help the Bladensburg Community Heritage Foundation fully renovate the 60 plus year old gym, with a new sport court floor and other needed upgrades!
Please consider coming out this weekend to support our fundraiser for the Bladensburg Community Center. We are looking to raise funds to fully restore the old gym. We are already well on our way to our goal of raising $60,000 towards the needed renovations! Our gym has provided a home for school aged basketball and baseball teams to practice, hosted the Knox County Special Olympics for the last two years (giving these wonderful athletes a place to compete and show off their skills), provided the space for baton twirlers to practice and compete, provided a spot for community activities and gatherings, and allowed families to have space for family fun time. But the gym desperately needs renovation. We want to continue to provide a place in our community for our kids, adults, and seniors to have a safe and inviting place to practice, play and develop physical activities.
Let’s come together for a night of dinner, family fun and community giving and help create a lasting impact ! Your support will make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. Working together, we can all make a difference for generations to come.
