The Annual Knox County Lamb Banquet. This event has been a fixture in Knox County for over 75 years. Sponsored by the Knox County Sheep Association it recognizes Knox County’s status as one of the largest sheep producing counties east of the Mississippi River.

Fundraiser for Highland & Fredericktown’s World Travel Clubs..Help Students experience the world!

In partnership with Arms of an Angel Foundation, The Woodward Opera House and The Knox Community Jazz Orchestra will be bringing you an amazing night of music. This benefit concert will raise money for the Mount Vernon Police Department as they are purchasing a new K9 Officer. With us for the evening will be K9 Officer Tuk, and K9 Officer Nova along with their handlers. Officers from the MVPD will share stories throughout the event about the K9s and the work they are doing in our community. We will hear from Chief Morgan and Captain Burns as well as Mr Dave Culbertson whose family started the Arms of an Angel Foundation. All proceeds from this event and donations collected that evening will go directly to the foundation to assist with this fundraiser. We encourage you to attend and share this evening! Come out and help Boy Scout Troop 338 & 339 clean up trash left behind from illegal dumpimg and abandoned camps along the riverbanks. Wheelbarrows, shovels, and grabbers provided. RSVP appreciated but not required
