Christmas at the Castle, a Kingdom of Lights @ Landoll's Mohican Castle

Every evening November 26th – December 31st the Castle becomes the most magical, jolly place to be! Our popular holiday tradition, Christmas at the Castle a Kingdom of Lights, returns for another year! Stroll the grounds and soak up the Holiday Spirit with over 100,000 lights, outdoor Christmas trees and, of course, your favorite Holiday tunes! If you’ve been nice, you might even meet the man himself—Jolly Old Saint Nick drops down the chimney at The Pavilion to meet children of all ages every Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 8pm. Admission on Friday and Saturday is $8 per car and free all other evenings.
You can buy your car pass in advance.
After working up an appetite strolling the grounds and taking in the twinkling lights, join us for a hearty winter meal.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, We will be offering a family style meal. Menu TBD. Reservations Required. Visit www.landollsmohicancastle.com/dine to make a reservation. Call 419-994-6351 for groups of 8 or more.
On all other evenings, our regular menu is available at The Copper Mug. Reservations are recommended.

The castle property is a hotel, event venue and restaurant. This is an outdoor walking event. The event will end at 10PM to respect the quite time of our hotel guests. It is handicap accessible but is on hilly paved terrain. This event in years past has been very busy, please be patient when arriving and parking. Our parking staff will do their best to get you parked in a timely fashion. The castle is made up of 11 hotel suites, there is a public observation tower and lobby with small gift area.
*Friendly leashed dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas.

Stockhands Veterans Night @ Stockhands Horses For Healing

Birdwatching for Beginners @ Grange Insurance Audubon Center

If you’ve wondered what birdwatching is about, but can’t even see a bird in a pair of binoculars, this is for you. Bring your binoculars or use ours. We’ll teach you tricks to start or improve upon a fun hobby. Weather permitting, we’ll go on a short hike or ‘arm chair’ bird watch.

College hosts regular electronic recycling days
at the Gambier Community Center. The program diverts electronic waste
from regional landfills and ensures recyclable aspects
of electronic devices
get a second chance at service. The program is open to the public.
When: First Saturday of the month
from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

big gray shipping container)

How will you handle Covid-19 limitations / if any?
We will follow any and all guidelines set forth by the city & state in regards to covid-19 safety measures. We will have pre-registration the night before, multiple routes to spread attendees out, and other pre-cautions will be set forth if needed.
Where do I get my VIP Holiday Shirt?
During registration.
Do I need a ticket?
Yes, you will not be able to get into our registration party, trivia game, koozie, access to bars, photography, and other giveaways.
Do I need to go to all of the bars? Is it guided?
You do not need to visit all the bars. We will have times next to each bar when they will be staffed & ready and when you should be there for wristband & crawl awesomeness.
Do I need to print my ticket? Does it need to match my name?
No, on your phone is preferred. Ticket does not need to match attendee name.
Can friends check me in?
Yes, we just need your ticket.
21+?
This is a 21+ event.
Refunds?
We will give refunds up to 7 days from event. No exception. Within 7 days, we will ONLY do transfers to future Bar Crawl USA events.
Pets Light up our Lives Christmas Tree @ KCHS

The Knox County Humane Society-CATS is hosting its annual “Pets Light up our Lives” Christmas tree.  Pet lovers can purchase a white light in memory of a beloved pet or a colored light in honor of a beloved pet.   Registration forms can be picked up at the shelter or by visiting our website at:  http://www.knoxhumanesociety.org. Please join the KCHS-CATS for this tree lighting ceremony as well as a blessing of the animals (pets must be leashed) on:  Saturday, December 4 at 12:00 at 400 Columbus Road, Mount Vernon, OH.

 

Following the tree lighting ceremony, light refreshments will be served inside our clean and welcoming facility.  We are also offering tours to those who are interested in learning about what we do at our outstanding shelter.
