Visiting Santa will be little different this year, but we are committed to continuing this fun, community favorite tradition! We are taking all of the appropriate precautions to ensure this is a safe experience for everyone involved. There will be no physical contact with Santa this year, but there will be an opportunity to purchase a printed photograph for $10 by professional photographer, Kathy Brady of For His Glory Photography!
Photos by reservation, will take place at the Delaware Welcome Center (20 E William Street).
If visiting Santa in person isn’t your style this year, drop off your letter to Santa in the North Pole Post mailbox on the front porch of the Welcome Center!

The horse knows the way to carry the sleigh! Experience the magic of the season from a horse-drawn carriage throughout Easton’s North District and Fenlon Square. Carriage rides will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays, November 21 through December 20. Rides are $10 per person, cash only. Children under 15 ride free with a paying adult. Carriages pick up and drop off outside of Zara on Gramercy Street. Saturdays & Sundays, November 21-December 20 Saturdays: 5-9PM Sundays: 3-7PM Additional rides will take place the following dates: Friday, November 20: 5-9PM Monday, December 21: 5-9PM We’re taking extra precautions to keep you safe this year. Please review the following protocols and processes to see how we’re preventing the spread of COVID-19. – There will not be a physical line to stand in. Upon arrival, please check in with an attendant at the carriage stand where you will then be entered into a virtual line. Guests will be contacted when to head back to the carriage stand for their ride. If you do not return in a timely manner, you may forfeit your place in line. Sorry, no tickets may be purchased in advance. – Please respect the social distancing marks while awaiting your ride. – Riders will be placed on the first carriage available upon their turn. – Carriages will accommodate four riders comfortably. – Riders are required to wear a mask while riding. – No blankets will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own! – Cash will be disinfected with UV light at the carriage stand upon receipt. Cash used for change will be disinfected ahead of time. – To keep guests and horses safe, there will be no petting of the animals this year. – Carriages will be disinfected between rides with a liquid solution and/or UV light disinfection based on the surface. – Carriage ride attendants and drivers are required to wear masks. For the safety of our guests and the horses, rides may be canceled due to weather conditions. If we are experiencing high winds, rain, freezing, or icy conditions, please call Guest Services at (614) 337-2200 to make sure rides are operational before you head out for the night. Please note that the rides are scheduled to end at 9PM. Due to high demand, the line may be closed prior to these times to ensure the horses are not being overworked for the night. Mansfield’s magical holiday experience returns! Kingwood Guests will enjoy:
- A new entrance to the festivities in our new visitor center, the Garden Gateway! Enjoy delicious treats served by Buehler’s in Kingwood’s Gateway Café, buy unique gifts in the Garden & Gift Shop, and explore the Exhibit Gallery before you head out to the outdoor displays.
- The Community Tree Walk will continue to host trees creatively decorated by community partners.
- Buehler’s Snacks & Sips will be located in the Workshop featuring hot beverages, snacks, and spirits (open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Kingwood Hall will be themed as “Christmas Through The Years” and much more!
- Please register or pre-purchase tickets in advance to reserve the date and time of your visit. This applies to member and children tickets as well.
- Capacity limits will be set for each hour and Kingwood Hall will closely monitor headcount. The Welcome Desk will offer limited walk-up tickets only when pre-sale capacity allows.

Every evening in December the Castle becomes the most magical, jolly place to be! Our popular holiday tradition, Christmas at the Castle a Kingdom of Lights, returns for another year! Stroll the grounds and soak up the Holiday Spirit with over 100,000 lights, outdoor Christmas trees and, of course, your favorite Holiday tunes! And if you’ve been nice, you might even meet the man himself—Jolly Old Saint Nick drops down the chimney at The Pavilion to meet children of all ages every Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 8pm. Admission on Friday and Saturday is $8 per car and free all other evenings. Drive around the breathtaking community of Minerva Park and experience dazzling lights and festival cheer during this holiday season. The village of Minerva Park puts on an annual competition each years for different categories of the best lights display, judging begins Dec. 17-Dec. 22nd
