Parenting teenagers is rewarding….and challenging! Triple P works by giving parents skills to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers, and to build stronger family relationships. You’re not alone. All parents struggle sometimes.
During this discussion group we’ll share experiences and ideas about dealing with non-cooperation and discuss reasons why teenagers can be uncooperative. You’ll learn positive parenting strategies to develop a plan to motivate your teenager to be cooperative at home. Free to all Knox County parents!

Aaron Costic and his team from Elegant Ice Creations will offer six carving demonstrations Saturday at 11 a.m., noon 1, 2, 3 & 4 p.m.
Class 1: heels – $30;
Class 2: toes – $20

Prerequisite skills: cast on, knit in round on DPNs or magic loop, knit, purl
Do you know how to use DPNs, magic loop, or two circs? Are you ready to take the next step in your knitting? Does a heel intimidate you? Learn how to make a traditional sock in quick fashion by knitting a shortie sock with a traditional heel flap and gusset.
Required materials: 200-300 yards of fingering weight/sock yarn; size 1 needles; stitch markers, darning needle, crochet hook or handi-tool.
Materials purchased for the class are 10% off in store!
Once you pay the $10 deposit here – online – your spot is reserved. Or you can call the shop to reserve your spot. Pay remainder in store day of class.
$10 is non-refundable BUT is transferable to any person or class.
