Shannon sentenced on Drugs and Weapons charges in Knox County

Joshua Shannon, 43, formerly of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to a 5-6 year prison term for possession of an ounce of meth and a loaded pistol. Road Crews busy in City of Mount Vernon over last weekend

Mayor Matt Starr with the City of Mount Vernon  said that over the recent three-day weekend, local road crews worked tirelessly to ensure safe driving conditions.
