Football, Volleyball, and Others In This High School Sports Update

High School Football Friday last week had:

Mount Vernon beating Newark Catholic 28-21

And Fredericktown beat Cardington-Lincoln 34-0.

Other games include:

Centerburg beat Northmor 48-28

Danville beat Mount Gilead 43-14

And Loudonville beat East Knox 26-14

In High School Cross Country yesterday,

At the Galion Festival, on the girls side, Centerburg placed 11th, Mount Gilead Placed 8th, and Northmor placed 3rd. And on the boy’s side, Centerburg placed 15th, and Mount Gilead placed 1st.

At the Newark Invitational, on the girls side, Danville placed 8th, and Fredericktown placed 7th. And on the boys side, Fredericktown placed 3rd

Tonight in Boys Golf, Cardington Lincoln goes to the Division 3 sectional

Tomorrow in Girls Golf, Centerburg goes to Lexington

And in High School Volleyball last night

East Knox fell to Coshocton 3-0

Cardington-LIncoln lost to Elgin 3-0

And Mount Gilead lost to Mansfield Christian 3-0
