A longtime Knox County equipment dealer is expanding its business and broadening the services it offers customers throughout central Ohio.
Advantage Ag & Equipment announced it has joined the Bobcat Company dealer network, allowing the Mount Vernon business to sell and service a full line of Bobcat construction, landscaping and property maintenance equipment. The expansion also includes a new rental fleet designed to meet short-term and seasonal equipment needs.
Located on Harcourt Road in Mount Vernon, the company has served agricultural customers since opening in 2013. Over the past decade, the dealership has grown beyond traditional farm equipment, and company leaders say the Bobcat partnership reflects increasing demand from contractors, landscapers, municipalities and homeowners throughout the region.
Owner Mark Lybarger II said the new partnership allows the dealership to better serve existing agricultural customers while expanding into additional markets.
The dealership will now carry compact track loaders, skid-steer loaders, mini excavators, compact tractors, zero-turn mowers, telehandlers, attachments and portable power equipment. Service, repairs, replacement parts and equipment rentals will also be available through the Mount Vernon location.
According to the company, its service area extends well beyond Knox County, serving customers in Licking, Delaware, Richland, Ashland, Holmes, Coshocton, Morrow, Fairfield, Muskingum, Marion and Crawford counties. Company officials say the expansion is intended to strengthen local access to equipment while reducing the need for contractors and farmers to travel outside the region for sales or service.
Bobcat officials said Advantage Ag & Equipment has built a strong reputation for customer service and local support, making the Mount Vernon dealership a good fit for the manufacturer’s growing dealer network.
The expansion is expected to position the dealership as a one-stop location for agricultural, commercial and residential equipment needs while supporting continued economic growth in Knox County and the surrounding region.
