Home of Knox County Commissioner searched as son facing additional charges in Knox County

36 year old Gary Thomas Keesee Jr., faces five additional rape and sex-related charges, according to a superseding indictment from Monday. Keesee was previously indicted on 27 sexual-abuse counts, including 11 counts of first-degree rape.The additional charges are from a fourth victim coming forward in the case.
Detective Jay Cook with the Licking County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with us that a search warrant was executed on the home of Drenda and Gary Keesee on Sharp Road in Mount Vernon last week.

Drenda and Gary’s son Tom faces 32 sexual-abuse counts, including 13 first-degree felonies, 14 third-degree felonies and five fourth-degree allegations. The five additional charges include two rape and three gross sexual imposition counts.

The superseding indictment filed Monday includes two additional counts of rape and three additional counts of sexual imposition for a total of 32 charges.
A jury trial is currently set for July 1st in Knox County Common Pleas Court
